It was my birthday! [It's been three years since I came out as transfeminine.]
Survived a third year. Here's to many more.
CONTENT WARNING: This post is about trans joys, some struggles too, and lots of love to the trans community.
You don't have to expose yourself to things that hurt you. Stay safe. ♥
Though if it's just your transphobia: "Fix your heart or die." ♥ ⚧
So uh, I've been busy all day, couldn't post. But I want to state that, while we're now on the 13th, yesterday, the 12th was my birthday! And by birthday, I'm not talking about the day where I was actually born into the world, no, I'm talking about the one where I started to find glimpses of hope and something to hold on to, something to live for. The day where I came out as transfeminine.
I have been living my life as a the girl I've always been, as a transfeminine woman for three years now. Something about it being three years, it feels... it feels special. I don't know why. But yeah. Three years of little Omega roaming the earth as herself.
I've been breathing what is soon to be twenty nine years. But I've been alive for three. It's not living yet, mostly surviving but I'm working on it. Every day I live as myself, where I go outside and am openly a trans woman, against everything if needs be, is a win.
Bunspeed to you, Omega. Things might be toughs as shit, but you're doing the best you can with what little you have and I for one, think you're doing an awesome job.
While I'm at it. I want to give a big shout out to Nitsa, my wonderful partner in life, in crimes and in internet non sense. I can honestly say that I had the roughest start and that you played a huge start in me making it this far.
And another huge shout out to all of my trans sisters, my trans brothers, all of my gender queer siblings out there. Thank you for existing, thank you for being here, every day you walk this earth is a huge victory for you, for all of us and the world is made better for it. We're all survivors here. And I'm so proud of each and every last one of you.
